Photo Album: Helical Pier install in Anchorage, AK
Do you have cracks on the interior of your home but not the exterior? Your homes foundation might be settling. A recent customer of ours reached out to us because they noticed the cracks on the interior of the home were growing and they were also getting new ones. They knew it was not the best to have cracks but they weren't to sure how bad it was or if they wait another year. They gave us a call and we recommended they get on the schedule to have someone come out to take a look at the foundation. We then got them on the schedule to meet with our specialist Eric.
Once Eric got out to the home he met with the homeowners and went over their concerns. They walled around the outside of the foundation. While they did that Eric took measurements as well as photos. Once Eric was complete outside he went into the home to take a look at the cracks as well as the windows and doors. Eric then sat down with the homeowners to go over his findings as well as the photos. Eric then started writing up a proposal for our Helical Piers.
The Patented Helical Pier System exclusively from Supportworks permanently stabilizes your home's foundation and in many cases can lift you home back to level. The Steel Piers are mechanically "screwed" into the soil using small construction equipment. The piers are installed to appropriate depths and capacities, and a steel foundation bracket is connected to the helical piers and attached to your foundation footing.
