We permanently stabilized this cabin's sinking foundation by installing helical piers to transfer the weight of the home to load-bearing soil or bedrock. They were even able to lift the cabin back to its original position, ridding of any sign that there was ever a foundation problem to begin with!
Check out these before afters of a Super Sump install in a bedroom of this basement! It was a different layout than normal. As you will see we installed a pump in the corner of the room and ran an interior discharge line along the floor and up through the wall towards the side of the home. This will direct the water back outside the home without causing any damage to the structural integrity of the home.
After this homeowner had built a home extension, she noticed that her crawl space was becoming damp with standing water. To waterproof the new area, we installed our CleanSpace© crawl space encapsulation system with SilverGlo© wall insulation. Not only will her crawl space stay dry—preventing issues such as mold and wood rot—but SilverGlo© is heat resistant with a radiant barrier, meaning it will retain heat inside the home and provide better energy savings long-term for the homeowner. The space is even safe enough to use as storage, making the home even more spacious alongside the extension. Crawl spaces tend to be scary, nasty places where only critters (like spiders), mold, and dust mites thrive. But it doesn't have to be that way! We'd even argue that it shouldn't be that way, because over 50% of the air you breathe on the first floor of your home comes from your crawl space. That's why we recommend our CleanSpace© crawl space encapsulation system. Our thick liner is over 2x thicker than the industry standard liner, which tends to rip and shred easily whenever the crawl space is accessed. Our liner is intended to be a permanent addition to your home, making your crawl space vapor-proof and lowering its overall humidity. Take a look at this fantastic job our production team did recently in Girdwood, ID. It's a great example of how our white liner really brightens the space and makes it easy to see that the crawl space is free of mold, insects and dirt. The homeowners loved these results and we think you would too!
This crawlspace had a lot of water in it and high moisture levels. To eliminate these problems we installed our SmartPipe Waterproofing System for the water coming in and our SaniDry dehumidifier for the moisture.
